This Beijing favourite is tucked away in one of the city’s hutongs near the infamous “ghost street”. The Ghost Street gets its name from the rows of restaurants, mostly serving traditional Chinese food, which stay open until the wee hours of the morning. It consists of a few blocks of what seems like endless dining options on a sleep that never (or barely) sleeps.
Hua Jia Yi Yuan is one of the more well-known restaurants in the city. It’s famous for serving delicious Peking Duck-a Beijing specialty. They also serve a variety of famous Chinese dishes. The atmosphere is ideal: The restaurant is set in a courtyard, providing guests with lots of light in a comfortable setting. A visit to Hua Jia Yi Yuan is s great way to mix traditional Chinese food in a classical garden setting in the middle of the city.
There are even live dance performances happening every night. It’s located near Beixinqiao subway.
